On the Q4 2025 call Musk committed Cybercab — Tesla's steering-wheel-free two-seater — to an April 2026 production start at Giga Texas. Production did begin in April 2026, though Electrek noted unsupervised-driving regulatory caps still constrain how the vehicles can actually be used. He also claimed Tesla would eventually 'make far more CyberCabs than all of our other vehicles combined.'
