Musk promised the Optimus Version 3 reveal within a few months of the January 2026 earnings call. By the April call he had pushed it to 'probably middle of this year,' saying Tesla now prefers to reveal close to production because competitors 'do a frame-by-frame analysis and copy everything.' As of June 11, 2026 no V3 unveil has happened.
