On Tesla's Q3 2019 earnings call in October 2019, Musk predicted full self-driving 'reliable enough that you do not need to pay attention' would arrive by the end of 2020. That would have meant true eyes-off driving for Tesla owners roughly fourteen months later. The deadline passed without attention-free FSD being released.
