Fetched Sep 10 2026: Wikipedia Tesla Robotaxi (as of September 2026) lists unsupervised commercial service in three states — Texas (Austin, Dallas, Houston) and Florida (Miami, Orlando, Tampa) — plus safety-driver service in the San Francisco Bay Area and announced-but-not-live service in Arizona (Phoenix) and Nevada (Las Vegas). That is 3 unsupervised states / 4 with any live service, not a dozen. Cybercab joined the Austin fleet Sep 3–4; it did not add states. Deadline end-2026. Status stays pending. Three months after projecting robotaxi coverage of a quarter to half of the US, Musk reset the 2026 target to roughly a dozen states on the Q1 2026 earnings call, citing a deliberately cautious safety approach. At the time the unsupervised service ran in Austin, Dallas and Houston, with the Bay Area still using safety drivers, and Musk said robotaxi revenue would not be material until 2027.
