At the November 2017 Tesla Semi unveiling, Musk promised the electric truck would go 500 miles at maximum weight at highway speed — 'the worst case scenario.' Five years later the claim checked out: Tesla demonstrated a 500-mile trip in December 2022, and the prediction is scored as delivered.
