Questions

What do you get with a Tesla referral code?
Tesla's referral page (11 Oct 2026) shows 3 months of Full Self-Driving (Supervised) on Model Y, Model 3 and Cybertruck (Premium AWD & Cyberbeast), and $400 off Solar Panels & Powerwall, for first-time buyers.
How does the Tesla referral program work?
Tesla calls it Refer and Earn. A friend shares a link from the Tesla app; you order your first qualifying Tesla from that link; the friend earns referrer benefits. Links can't be added after the order.
Who is not eligible?
Existing Tesla owners, Certified Pre-Owned purchases, and orders placed before opening the link. Ohio and Virginia residents can get buyer benefits but not referrer benefits. Cybertruck Dual Motor AWD is loyalty-only.
Is there a limit on Tesla referrals?
Yes: 10 order referrals per calendar year and 30 demo-drive referrals per account lifetime. If the referrer has hit the limit, buyers using that link get no buyer benefit.
Does FSD cost extra after the free months?
Yes. After the referral months FSD is a monthly subscription. Price it on the FSD cost chooser.
